oh no here comes the sappy vanstuck post
ok so around febuary of last year there was that world homestuck map that was going around. i decided to join it, so i put down my aproximate location and my tumblr url
about a day later i got a message from tumblr user brokenblumenkind asking if i would like to join vanstuck on facebook

my fenestrated plane was a great hit even if it isnt really completely up to snuff. already have plans for 2.0 ;)
We are having two photoshoots for FanExpo!
The Saturday Photoshoot is at 1pm, and we will be meeting at the Olympic Torch (where we had our photoshoot last year, if you recall). We may move, depending on numbers, but we won’t move far. It is off of convention grounds, so people who aren’t purchasing con tickets can still attend.

The Sunday Photoshoot is at 2pm, same place, same deal with maybe moving depending on numbers. It will be followed by a bit of a draw party/hangout, so even if you’re not in cosplay, feel free to come over and hang out!

Please, be very respectful of your fellow cosplayers, as well as the photographers! We’re all here to have fun, and get some awesome photos, so be nice, yo.
Also, remember that you are repping the Homestuck fandom, and Vanstuck in particular. Behave appropriately and with kindness! Keep horns and whistles to a MINIMUM, and by minimum I really mean you probably don’t need to use them at all. Let’s show the rest of Vancouver’s cosplay community that their ill feelings for us are unfounded~
And please, please, let’s make this a con where none of the friendleaders walk into the bathrooms and find grey paint. If you have to retouch your makeup, and it gets on stuff, clean it up, that’s all you gotta do.
